I am a Master’s student currently studying level design at the Guildhall at SMU. I recently graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications (emphases in public relations and business management), and it instilled in me a passion for strategic planning and AP style. I’m also an avid lover of choral music, theater, anything Disney, and novels with the word “game” in the title (particularly Ender’s Game and The Hunger Games trilogy).

My goal as a designer is to create worlds and characters that make people laugh, feel, and reconsider their surroundings and relationships–to develop ideas, mechanics, and concepts that go far beyond the current approaches to presentation, storytelling, and interactivity.
The skills I’m currently using to achieve this rather lofty goal include level design and editor proficiency (UDK, GECK, Torque, and Hammer), scripting, puzzle design, technical writing, team leadership, and the uncanny ability to sing like a soprano.
